Nearest Filling Station Please!

Tina knew she had to apportion the last of the fuel in the car. She had many places to go to but with the recent shortage in fuel and simultaneous spike in its prices she preferred to stay in the comfort of her home.
She received an urgent call a few hours after her decision to stay at home. She knew she had to throw caution to the wind and go out with the last available fuel in the vehicle.
Once behind the wheel she adjusted her rear view mirror and said a silent pray,

Lord, please let there be fuel today and may I get it for a miraculous price.’

Psalm 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life.  In thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

I had been thinking so much today. Trying to carry my burdens instead of casting them upon HIM for HE cares.
He told me I could be likened to a car and my joy my fuel. In His presence is fullness of joy. HIS PRESENCE is your filling station.

Sometimes in life we get so knocked down and low on joy, whatever we do, we do out of routine and responsibility not Joy. We have no joy in our system. Our vehicle is in die need of refill-joy.

We forget that the Joy of the Lord is our strength and once we have lost our joy, our strength is diminishing and our vehicle would eventually come to a halt in the middle of nowhere.

Unlike normal fuel stations located at vantage points in a city the presence of the Holy Spirit can be cultivated. His presence maybe felt in a church but not only a church. His presence-your filling station- can be everywhere and anywhere if only we cultivate it. His can be cultivated in many ways one of which is speaking in the language of the Spirit.

By speaking in the language of the Spirit, we allow our spirit to commune with the Holy Spirit. At that point, our fuel tank has been opened and the nozzle of the fuel dispenser is dispensing fuel into our vehicle.

Don’t loose your joy, QUICKLY GET TO YOUR FILLING STATION!

Nehemiah 8:10
… This day is sacred to our Lord.Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

God loves you!
