We were made for more. I am certain this is the message God has been announcing all the time. It is so close to His heart that when our true identity and purpose was stolen by the enemy, He went to the ends of the world to redeem our lost glory. But does it end there, are we just fine with knowing that Christ died for us and saved us? If that is the case then we’d have to agree with Paul
“If our hope in Christ is good for this life only and no more, then we deserve more pity than anyone else in all the world.”
We keep going on about we being saved-but then what are we saved from? Did Christ suffer death for us to keep living in sin, poverty, distress and everything with the tag less? God defines greatness and we are made in His image but why then do we give the world reason to question our reasoning-the word puts it this way, “God’s name is blasphemed among the gentiles because of you.”
God’s will has always been clear in His words, He desired that Adam have dominion over the world, Abraham to be the father of all Nations, for us to have an abundant life. We are to recognize that we are more than conquerors, to know that we are to come with boldness to His presence, and ask for MORE because He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Think big, desire big, reach for more-let us not draw a line for God because when we think His greatness ends that is where it begins.
And He calls us to share in this saying that we are Heirs of Him and Co-heirs with Christ. You may wonder why, what is man that God is so mindful of?
Man is worth it.
And He wants us to hold on to that knowledge…to comprehend…”know ye not that ye are gods?”
